Archer: EVERY Season Ranked Worst To Best
3. Season Ten: 1999
The third outing of Sterling's coma dream sequences is without question the strongest. Throwing the characters and the audience into space, the opportunities the writers are given are not once squandered. There's alien gladiators, cabin fever, and Pam being portrayed as a tough-as-nails rock monster. What's not to love?
Then of course there's Cheryl, in her most badass guise yet as an ace pilot, Mallory as a beam of light, and Archer being more Archer than ever. There are some solid and hilarious philosophical discussions, some great spoofs of sci-fi pop culture, and a plethora of robots, bounty hunters and super-fun violence.
Whilst this kind of thing was once a fan dream type of situation - Archer and co in Alien, or Star Trek - Season Ten saw it become a reality and pulled it off with startling precision. And then there's the ending, in which Sterling wakes from his coma to see Mallory looking over him, opening the door to more real-world Archer adventures in future.
It may have just been one season, but this kind of thing could be a whole ten season spin off show in its own right, and few would complain.
