18. George Michael Is... Star Wars Kid
"Star Wars Kid" is one of the great joys of the internet viral video scene, and Arrested Development didn't beat around the bush when it came time to making a hilarious reference to it. In the world of the show, though, it's George Michael who takes the place of the original video's tubby star. The running joke is that the "tape" that contains this embarrassing footage ends up getting played whenever the Bluths or their associates need to watch a clip or play something on television. Which includes it accidentally getting played at George Michael's prom, and at pretty much every important family gathering. The most hilarious part, of course, is that everyone is constantly using the same tape over and over again, apparently oblivious to the fact that they could just buy a new one instead of constantly subjecting George Michael to its hidden embarrassment.
