19. "I've Made A Huge Mistake"
It's no surprise that one of the best known "catchphrases" on Arrested Development deals with the subject of making "huge mistakes," a practice that the Bluth family seem to excel at in their masses. Yes, "I've made a huge mistake" is a saying that fans of the show will often hear escaping GOB's tender lips, given that he seems genetically primed to make the majority of dumb decisions. There have been amusing variations on this phrase, of course. At one point GOB tries "I've made a huge tiny mistake" on for size. And Michael and Lucille, too, have used this catchphrase on occassion to sum up some of their own ill-judged decisions. Believe me when I say that, despite its frequency this phrase still isn't used nearly enough on the show: give their tendency to screw up, the Bluths should be saying it every 5 minutes.
