3. The Lazarus Pit Appears
Judging by the images from the trailer, Thea is the most likely candidate for the next death. Oliver, Felicity, and Malcolm are all seen alive and well in Nanda Parbat, and Thea is one of the few people whom Oliver loves so desperately that he would give himself up to Ras al Ghul in exchange for the use of a certain perk of life in the League of Assassins: the Lazarus Pit. With its powers first demonstrated in the episode that first saw Oliver refuse Ras offer, the Lazarus Pit is capable of healing wounds, prolonging life, and even resurrecting the dead. Although Oliver was clearly intrigued by its properties, the pit was not nearly enough of a motivator for him to sell his soul to the Demon. Olivers life is practically one giant ongoing suicide mission anyway; he has never feared death. Yet that Chekhovs pit of resurrection goo has been bubbling in the background ever since its introduction, and theres no way that Season 3 will be ending without somebody taking a dip. A split-second glimpse of a woman officiating a ceremony with Oliver and Malcolm suspending something or someone between them is the strongest clue that a person that these two men have in common will soon either be dead or dying.
