4. Somebody Dies

After Tommy at the end of Season 1 and Moira toward the end of Season 2, viewers have begun to nervously take stock of which characters are least likely to survive the finale of Season 3. The expanded ensemble of the third season has provided the narrative with plenty of potential victims. It is possible that Sara€™s death in the premiere may have been enough to slake producers€™ thirst for blood, but it€™s hard to be optimistic about good guy survival chances at this point. Now, even the most spoilerific of trailers is not going to give away a big death, and perhaps two seasons are not quite enough to set an airtight precedent for main character mortality. Nevertheless, there have been too many signs in recent episodes and too many close calls without payoff that there can be little doubt that the end is nigh for one of the good guys.
