Diggle and Olivers relationship hit a bit of a rocky patch during S3, as your best friend kidnapping your wife and leaving your infant daughter alone is likely to do. Given the brother-like bond between the pair before then, it was understandably a big betrayal, even if a necessary one. Season 4, then, will have to deal with more of the fallout from that, and a rebuilding of their relationship. Diggle looks to be sticking around for the time being, and hopefully hell get more to do this time around, as he was cast aside too much earlier in season 3. It also seems that were going to see him finally get a disguise and an alter-ego, as after three seasons of running around the streets of Starling with his face on show he should probably be a bit more careful to hide his identity. Itll be interesting and fun to see how far he goes with the superhero persona, as Diggle doesnt exactly seem like the costume type.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
