Round One goes to Ra's al Ghul in a very one-sided fight. He topped it all off by stabbing Oliver with a sword and kicking him off of a cliff. Against a seemingly unbeatable opponent, how does the Arrow triumph? It is difficult to tell how Oliver can beat an opponent that has years (possibly centuries) more experience than him. Perhaps the situation and setting will be different and allow things to swing in Oliver's favor. Either way, Ra's and the League are the primary villains for this season, so he will have to face him again. It would not be a super-hero drama if the hero failed to defeat the villain (again). While Ra's al Ghul is the most capable opponent that Oliver has ever faced, he will be defeated by Oliver by the series finale (perhaps paving the way for Malcolm Merlin to reveal his big plans to be the primary antagonist for the fourth season). What are your predictions for the rest of the season? Share them down in the comments.
