3. Is Olicity Done For Good?
Seeing the great lengths that Arrow has gone to in order to keep Oliver and Felicity together, it’s kind of hard to take their break up seriously. But after a few episodes apart, it's starting to look seriously possible that their romance is done for good.
Doing so would arguably be the best thing the show could do. Season 4 has become far too bogged down with relationship drama and a break from the romance, even if it’s only for a few more episodes, could allow the rest of the story to move forward at this key time.
In the long term, though, even though fans were expecting Oliver to end up with the Black Canary, the show has made quite a point how crazy he is about Felicity. It certainly hasn’t been an easy break-up for either and even if it makes their characters more free, it’s hard to imagine the writers completely abandoning this thread, even if it's in their own best interest to do so.
