3. Roy Survives
Arsenal was undeniably a sidekick in Season 3 of Arrow, but Roy became a true hero over the course of the first nineteen episodes. Whether he was trying to do the right thing by Thea or turning himself in to protect his mentor or lying facedown in a puddle after Ray electrocuted him, Roy always had the best intentions and was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He was the Little Vigilante That Could, and it was heartbreaking to learn that hed been murdered in prison. It was therefore a huge relief to discover that Arrow had pulled another switcheroo and Team Arrow had only faked his death. Roy not actually being dead is one of the rare Gotcha! twists that worked in Season 3, and hes definitely one of the characters who deserve to come back for the occasional guest arc in seasons to come.
