Arrow: 7 Dumbest Plots Of The Series So Far

6. Danny Brickwell Takes Over The Glades

Ra€™s al Ghul running Oliver through with a sword was a heartbreakingly fabulous cliffhanger, and the plot of Team Arrow and Co. in Starling dealing with his €œdeath€ had wonderful potential. Unfortunately, that potential was squandered on the nonsensical Danny Brickwell trilogy. The entire arc felt like it had been designed around a checklist of things that needed to happen but nobody wanted to put much effort into making work. Nothing made sense. Former soldier and ginormous warrior John Diggle hung out in the Arrow cave while itty bitty Roy and newbie Laurel defended the Glades. Ray was suddenly established as a city leader. Felicity was treated like his assistant so he could rescue her. The mayor just decided to give up the Glades. There was very little logic at work in the Danny Brickwell trilogy, and it sabotaged what could have been an organic story about life moving on in Starling without the Arrow.

Fiction buff and writer. If it's on Netflix, it's probably in my queue. I've bought DVDs for the special features and usually claim that the book is better than the movie or show (and can provide examples). I've never met a TV show that I won't marathon. Follow on Twitter @lah9891 .
