One of the main focal points of this episode was Roys Mirakuru fuelled rage on the streets. Hes simply uncontrollable, spurred on by a hallucination of Thea, similar to Slades visions of Shado, demanding he punish anyone who gets in his way. Starting his violent frenzy on lowlife criminals, he moves up to random strangers and then onto those he loves. Despite striking both Canary and Sinn, breaking Ollies leg and strangling Thea, it is the murder of a police officer that will have the biggest impact if Roy becomes stable, as hell have to face the dire consequences of his actions. That iconic red hoodie he wears is now synonymous with the death an officer of the law, most likely sparking a manhunt, and since the deed was done with Ollies arrow he could well be the one who takes the fall for the crime. Colton Hayes did a brilliant job staring down the barrel of Canarys gun, pleading for her to kill him. The intensity and physicality of his every move, the 'roid-rage style shakes and the desperation in his eyes - it was all wonderfully done. Weve seen Roy wrestle his demons before in a desperate attempt to gain control, but this time was different; a battle he had long lost - in the only moment he had a glimpse of control, he begged for death. It will be interesting to see what happens next with Roy, if hell be given the cure or will decline so he can help Ollie put an end to Slades vendetta. Not to mention the guilt he must carry on his shoulders once he realises what he did. Either way, its an exciting moment for fans of Red Arrow who are seeing Roy get closer to honing in on his archery skills and donning a new red hood.
