Arrow: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

A character that once started off as nothing more than Laurel Lance's cheating sister who was washed away to her death when she boarded the Queen's Gambit with Laurel's boyfriend ended up evolving into the Arrowverse's most badass warrior. Now if that ain't character development, nothing is.

Sara Lance was, in many ways, a device brought in to help her sister achieve her ultimate destiny and, for the most part, that worked as expected. What unexpectedly worked, however, was how well both the character and actress Caity Lotz slotted into the show.

Returning from the dead (twice), Sara managed to effortlessly transition into the well-developed Lance family drama. But it was her work as the badass Canary that made her stand out from the pack and, in doing so, paved the way for the character to become one of the most important in the Arrowverse.

While Sara kicks ass as the Captain of the Waverider in the off-the-wall environment of Legends of Tomorrow, she will always be more at home in her gritty roots of Star City.
