Arrow Season 3: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Introduce A Third Superhero

One of the biggest talking points of the Second Season is the announcement that Barry Allen would appear in Arrow, and later his own series. It would seem only right for the writers to continue expanding the show€™s possibilities by introducing a third superhero. With Fox commissioning €˜Gotham€™ (a Pre-Batman series) and DC being undecided in including the shows as part of their upcoming cinematic universe, it will be very unlikely that Oliver Queen travels to Gotham City and meets the Dark Knight, but the brief mentions of Blüdhaven opens the door for Nightwing to debut on the show. The character Dick Grayson has appeared in Batman€™s TV series and films before but as Robin, the Batman€™s sidekick, never as his Nightwing alter-ego. Like The Arrow, he doesn€™t have any super-powers, instead relying on his gadgets and a mastered fighting style which makes him a good fit for the show. All you have to do is visit a few Arrow forums and you€™ll find fans have been practically screaming for Dick Grayson to appear. This would be a perfect opportunity for the writers of Arrow to boost ratings (in similar fashion to Barry Allen€™s debut) while also using it as a possibility to establish the show as part of DC€™s upcoming cinematic universe.
