Arrow Season 3: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Ra€™s Al Ghul Appears

From the second Ra€™s al Ghul is briefly mentioned in €˜Broken Dolls,€™ fans have been drooling at the prospect of seeing the Head of the League of Assassins return to our screens. The League of Assassins play a surprisingly large role in Arrow€™s Second Season. It is revealed that the League trained Sara Lance and she once had a relationship with Ra€™s daughter, Nyssa. Although she is reluctantly released of her duties, she returns to them in exchange for their help in defeating Slade Wilson€™s Mirakuru army. With Malcolm Merlyn's return, it would make perfect sense for Ra€™s Al Ghul to make his first appearance, as there is bad blood hinted between him and Merlyn. It would also be terrific if they could secure the services of an acclaimed, well-known name such as Harry Potter star, Jason Isaacs (who voiced Ra€™s al Ghul in Batman: Under The Red Hood) to play the part. As tough as it may be to top Liam Neeson€™s spectacular performance in Nolan€™s Batman Begins, having a character of Ra€™s popularity would bring further attention to the show in the eyes of comic fans.
