Arrow Season 3: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. H.I.V.E. Will Continue To Play Puppet Master

H.I.V.E. is a supervillain organisation in the comics that has ties to the League of Assassins and Deathstroke. Their main goal is the standard destroy all meta-humans and world domination, but they can easily be re-imagined to suit Arrow€™s universe. In the sixth episode of Season Two, H.I.V.E. is revealed as the true villain behind the death of John Diggle€™s brother, Andy. Although Deadshot is the man who pulled the trigger, he was just given a contract and as a way to thank Diggle for breaking him out of prison, he reveals who his employers were. Unfortunately, that episode was the last time they were mentioned, which is a shame (and odd that Diggle would drop it out of nowhere), but the groundwork for a new villain has been set and it would be wise to revisit them in the future. The mystery of the female benefactor behind mercenary Edward Fyers and his team€™s attempt to decimate China€™s economy in Season One has yet to be revealed, but it does coincide with H.I.V.E. strategy. Even though it is likely that to Amanda Waller is behind the attack, it would certainly be an interesting idea to tie the two together. Due to John Barrowman being promoted to a series regular, he€™ll no doubt be the main antagonist but the villains behind this organisation could well linger in the background pulling strings before they come into full force later. Maybe they€™re the ones who free Slade Wilson?
