13. Laurel Lance In Court
Remember how Laurel Lance has years of extensive legal training? Most of us just about do, but youd be easily forgiven for forgetting about those years of Law School for Arrow rarely uses Laurel in any sort of legal capacity these days. Sure, she may regularly be seen liaising with the SCPD or wearing business suits, but it actually felt like a WTF shock to see Laurel at play in a court room for once. Seriously, can you think of the last time that we saw any kind of legal situation that Black Canary get to get stuck in to? Granted, this is Laurel Lance, a character who this otherwise-excellent show often leaves stranded or who is handled horrendously, so I guess its almost expected that parts of her characters are dropped or mishandled on a regular basis. Still, it was still a surprise to see her make use of her law qualifications once more.
