Arrow Season 4: 5 Reasons To Be Excited About John Constantine

Even fans resolutely resistant to Constantine jaunting over from the vaults of NBC to make his mark on The CW must admit that his appearance could be incredibly beneficial to Arrow.

The numbers that were not enough to keep Constantine on the air on major network NBC are not quite as insignificant to the more diminutive CW; with The Flash and already Legends of Tomorrow receiving the bulk of promotion on their home network, Arrow can use all of the media attention that it. 

The tones of both Constantine and Arrow have always been darker than that established by the peppier Flash, and fans of the NBC venture may find in Arrow a show to alleviate the sorrow of losing Constantine after only 13 episodes. As John Constantine is a character who dabbles in the supernatural rather than possesses superpowers, he won’t eclipse archer Oliver, and the combination could be an overall winner for Arrow in its fourth season.
