Arrow Season 4: 6 Things The Candidate Got Right (And 4 It Didn't)

10. Got Right - Boss Felicity

There was quite a bit of the heroes being out of the Arrow Lair this week, and Felicity's story involved her new role as the head of Palmer Technologies, with some difficult decisions to make. This introduced us to 'Boss Felicity', someone who is now charged with running a large company and dealing with many important people in suits. Felicity handles this like, well, Felicity. She's awkward, funny, and eventually finds a way of solving the problem. If I'm totally honest there was maybe a little bit too much of the Palmer Tech stuff in the episode, but getting to see Felicity in action outside of Oliver (and Ray, even though it's his company) made it worth it. They struggled somewhat with the character last year because of those relationships, but now the writers seem on much surer footing and she's getting back to the Felicity we all (ok, some of us) know and love. Oh, and she got a new fern out of it, which was nice (and a glimpse of the lighter Oliver we're seeing this year).
