Arrow Season 4: 7 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Lost In The Flood'

6. The Dynamic Between Donna And Noah

Arrow Lost in the Flood
The CW

Split families and broken homes are sadly rather commonplace in modern society, and it’s been interesting to see Arrow explore this part of family life using the Felicity Smoak character in recent weeks.

That all continued brilliantly here in how the show looked at the relationship between Donna and Noah, the parents of Felicity. Whilst we’ve to-date always been led to believe, as had Felicity, that Noah up and left his wife and daughter behind as he went down a path of supervillainy, Lost in the Flood added a nice twist to the matter by revealing that it was actually Donna who was the one who walked away from the family unit, taking young Felicity with her.

This caused a slight shift in things for young Miss Smoak, with her now not seeing her old man as the total lost cause that she thought he was previously. Added to this, seeing Felicity and Noah working side-by-side once more only furthered the rekindled relationship between the pair, whilst Donna was often left jealously stewing in the background.
