Arrow Season 4: Things That Need To Happen Before The Mid-Season Break

5. The Proposal

When Season 4 of Arrow started, Oliver and Felicity weren't living in Star City. They'd packed their bags, gone travelling, and then settled into domestic bliss, with Ollie out jogging and Felicity failing omelettes. It was fun to see a different side to the characters, even if it could never last and they'd have to return to their home and vigilantism. One of the big developments in their relationship that opening promised was Oliver proposing to Felicity, something he was stopped from doing by an interruption, and hasn't been able to do since. For non-Olicity fans this is no doubt a good thing, while those really shipping it will be desperate to see it happen. I'd say it does need to, although not out of some Tumblr-driven crazy fandom obsession. The idea of the proposal has been hanging since episode 1, so they need to tie it up. The two being engaged will bring them closer, meaning it'll give Damien Darhk a more obvious target in his attempts to hurt Oliver Queen. Plus, y'know, who doesn't love weddings?
