Arrow Season 4: Things That Need To Happen Before The Mid-Season Break

4. Oliver Queen, Elected Official

Oliver Queen is so far running a rather successful Mayoral campaign, helped in no small part by the fact that he doesn't actually have any competition. Still, he has to win over the people, and thus far he's doing a sterling job. Given Oliver is the only horse running in this race, there's really no need to drag it out, and the story can move ahead into more interesting avenues once he's actually in office. There's only so much you can do with a campaign of one, after all. The other alternative, if they don't want Oliver to be elected come the mid-season finale, is to introduce another candidate. Someone who has similarly big plans for Star City, and is capable of being equally as charming while hiding a big secret. Hmm...who could that be?
