Arrow Season 5: 8 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Legacy'

8. Thea's Hesitancy

Arrow Ups Downs

Typically when a superhero hangs up the spandex, it’s only a matter of time before they once again suit-up to fight the good fight.

Now we may have seen Thea Queen put on the Speedy outfit once more in Legacy, but the exploration into Thea’s mindset and reluctance to return to the hero game was there for all to see. At times, we had Oliver, Felicity, and Quentin Lance all drop hints (or flat-out ask) that Thea suits-up to help fight the bad guys.

With her bloodlust seemingly now behind her, and with the death of Laurel Lance still very raw and fresh in memory, Thea is hesitant to give up the normalcy that she now has. In fact, she even makes a point of saying how this is the first time that she’s really felt like herself in years.

Seeing Thea back in the Speedy outfit was great while it lasted in Legacy, but here’s hoping that her full-time return to the hero life is drawn out over a substantial part of Season 5’s first half or even longer.
