4. It Was A Lot Of Fun

A team of vigilantes known for using extreme force sitting in the same room as a bunch of disgruntled police officers who want nothing to do with them as they all learn about the rules of law enforcement? Now that may sound like the plot to a damn fine sitcom, but it was also the primary storyline in this week's episode of Arrow.

As part of the Mayor's deputization of the former vigilantes, all the active members of Team Arrow had to learn how to conduct themselves like police officers. Though it started off with promise, the team members quickly struggled to fit in as their individuality as heroes of the city was completely stripped away from them. From there, they had to figure out how to overcome the teething issues whilst not losing sight of who they actually were.

This set the stage for a highly enjoyable narrative that saw Dinah caught in the middle as Oliver, Rene, Diggle and Felicity clashed with the SCPD over their approach. Though it may not have added that a significant amount of progression to the overall plot, it was key in bringing back the Arrow-Cave/Bunker and, in doing so, finally saw Dinah once again don her Black Canary costume.
