Arrow Season 8: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
Season 8 has been, for the most part, all about Oliver's quest to save the multiverse. An arc that started back in Season 7, it was essentially an extension of his overall character journey as he was protecting those he loved by carrying out an ambitious mission that no one man should be able to accomplish - changing his family's legacy forever.
Oliver's stories have always been at the emotional centre of the show, but there was something particularly emotional about this one - be it the fact that it mirrored the earliest days of his mission or the fact that we all knew there was only one way it could end, but we couldn't help but feel for him a lot more than we usually do - and that made it easier to connect to this season while making the season itself harder to watch.
Stephen Amell delivered some of his finest work, offering up scenes that were both endearing (Oliver's smile when William came out) and heartbreaking (Oliver's death scene), all while continuing to provide us with one final selection of the character's trademark badass moments.
Without a doubt, one of Oliver's best seasons.
