Arrow Season 8 Review: 6 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Leap Of Faith'

4. A New Purpose For The League

Arrow Season 8 League of Assassins
The CW

Thea's return prompted the return to the deadly Thanatos Guild and an unholy alliance with Talia Al Ghul - who would end up attempting to betray them all for the sword of the original Ra's Al Ghul. But after the current 'Daughter of the Demon' defeated her predecessor, Thea offered Talia a chance at redemption - join her and together, the pair of them can train the remnants of the League of Assassins to become something else: a League of Heroes.

The League has always been a major part of the show, but the deaths of both Ra's and Merlyn left them lacking a purpose. This feels like a fitting conclusion to their arc - one that will allow both them and Talia to create a new legacy.

Oliver, Nyssa, Thea and Sara have proven that the League's training can create heroes and now, together, Thea and Talia are going to create a lot more - and that is undoubtedly a good thing.
