Arrow: 14 Deleted Scenes You Need To See

7. Digg Visits Cyrus Gold

https://youtu.be/LYpAGhROnG4 Three Ghosts is one of the very best episodes of Arrow, arguably the greatest it has produced so far. Among the many things it does really well is the character of Cyrus Gold, one of Slade's henchmen who is incredibly powerful and able to defeat Oliver. They later find out more about him in his apartment, when they find the book discussing the Solomon Grundy rhyme, hinting at a potential return for the character as his undead alter-ego later down the line (wishful thinking?). That's set up in this deleted scene, which provides a nice bit of humour for Diggle. He has to bargain with the guy on reception for the information about Gold's apartment (although he's not mentioned by name). $50 for confirming he's there, $100 dollars for the room number. But that's ok because the rich guy in the car outside will pay him back. It just adds a bit more context to what comes after, and the scene is pretty amusing to watch as well.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
