1. It Premieres On Hallowe'en, And It Certainly Looks Scary
Fans of Evil Dead won't have too long to wait before the show airs, as Starz have chosen to premiere Ash Vs. Evil Dead on October 31st, 2015. It seems like a suitable choice for that date too, given the sheer quantity of stomach-churning, face-hiding and horror film-referencing moments that are crammed into the trailer. There's a 180° head spin from a deadite (The Exorcist), a tiny doll launching itself at Ash's face (Child's Play; Puppet Master), a horrifying eyeless monster that resembles something from Resident Evil or Silent Hill, a pointed fingernail creeping slowly towards an exposed eye, and even a deadite Granny with a vicious looking knife.
