1. The Charles Subplot Is Dead Weight

Easily the most forgettable subplot this season was Charles Greane's (Omar Benson Miller) adjusting to domesticated life and ultimately trying to find a job to settle into.

Cue him fleeting between the prospect of an NFL comeback and eventually becoming a Miami Dolphins executive, and the back-and-forth became repetitive extremely quickly. It really felt like he was shoved into episodes for the sake of it at times, and his character didn't evolve in a particularly gratifying way that would justify him getting such generous amounts of screen time.

All his prolific appearances did was take time away from The Rock, which is rarely a good thing.
