Batman: The Animated Series was one of those shows that just sang.
Everything about BTAS came together to create an undisputed classic that still holds up to this day. The writing, voice-acting, music and direction were all a phenomenal leap forward in the field of TV animation, and much of what we view today owes its existence to what many still regard as DC's greatest ever TV show.
The excitement surrounding the rumoured sequel illustrates how beloved the original series still is, 30 years after it first aired. Rewatching it on HBO Max has been a genuine pleasure, and also germinated the idea for this quiz.
At 85 episodes, BTAS has plenty of obscure trivia and details to stump even the most devout Dark Knight fanatic. As such, the quiz will completely focus on the original Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures (same series, different name).
This means no questions about Batman Beyond, or any of the other shows from the DC Animated Universe. (Sorry to all Terry McGinnis fans! We'll get round to you eventually).
