Batman v Superman v Doctor Who: 10 Heroic Connections

1. Eric Roberts - The Master/Sal Maroni

There's only one true Master of this list, and that's screen villain Roberts. In 1996 he inherited the title of The Doctor's arch enemy from Anthony Ainley in the Paul McGann TV movie, coming to life in a flurry of squeaky Daleks and CGI snakery. Last heard giving the TARDIS indigestion, it was an unlikely source of interest for Roberts, who'd watched the series while studying in England. Gotham City became the actor's destination in 2008, portraying another famous villain - crime boss Sal Maroni. Having grown accustomed to running the sleazier side of the city, Maroni got caught up in the machinations of Heath Ledger's Joker before falling foul of Aaron Eckhart's Two Face. This double whammy of evil from both DC and the BBC sets Roberts at the top of the Batman v Superman v Doctor Who rundown. What do you think about this list? Is there anyone we've missed out from the cornucopia of capes and chameleon circuits? Let us know in the comments section.
