Battlestar Galactica: All Human Cylon Models Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Number 5: Doral

Battlestar Galactica Doral Cylon
Universal

Poor Matthew Bennett.

Doral was the third confirmed Cylon model shown to the audiences in Battlestar Galactica, after Number Six and Leoben Conoy. He was, however, something of a lucky guess by Gaius Baltar.

After the destruction of the Colonies, Doral was part of the team that accompanied President Roslin in combining what ships were left into a fleet. He traveled with that fleet to Ragnar Station, an old munitions location that was located inside a radiation cloud. This cloud proved harmful to Cylons, causing him to get sick.

He was marooned on the station, at which point he was rescued by his fellow models. That is almost the most exciting thing that he ever did. Another model did manage to set off a suicide vest on Galactica, which did manage to do a fair amount of damage, yet didn't kill anyone 'important'. After this, Doral serves as something like the administrator model of the Cylons - never really doing anything to stand out above the rest.

Even The Plan doesn't do much for his character. Instead, Matthew Bennett gets to make one decent joke (about the suit that he constantly seems to be wearing - except that this one is teal). Other than that, a very forgettable model altogether!
