What's better than one of DC's most intrepid reporters? That's easy: Two of DC's most intrepid reporters - which is something we got to see in all its glory in 'Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part Two'.

Lois Lane and Iris West-Allen joined Clark Kent as the trio went off around the multiverse in search of Lex Luthor and the Book of Destiny - which he planned on using to kill every version of Superman that he could. Now, given the Superman-heavy mission, a lesser-character might have felt out of place, but not Iris. No, The Flash's leading lady held her own as she shared the screen with the famous Man of Steel characters and, in the process, showed us all what she's capable of when given time to shine.

Her and Lois made an enjoyable duo with real purpose - as the pair figured out a way to overcome Lex and transform the disheartened Kingdom Come Superman into a more hopeful version of himself.

The fact that Lois made her Arrowverse debut in last season's Elseworlds crossover and didn't interact with Iris felt like something of a missed opportunity given the pair's comic book history as formidable reporters, but Crisis has done some much-needed course-correcting, portraying these two as the intuitive team fans always knew they could be.
