3. Kate's New Career Path

The revelation that Kate would be developing a new career for herself was an unexpected surprise because it means that she'll be doing more than just sitting in Wayne Enterprises or strutting around in classy suits. Moreover, her decision to move into real estate is nice because it was a decision that her brief romance with Reagan inspired.

On that note, as this episode was heavily referencing how Bruce got by with his Bruce Wayne billionaire playboy person, it was imperative that it end with Kate figuring out what kind of persona she would adopt. And now, with her interest in real estate outside of The Crows district, it gives her the chance to show Gotham who the real Kate Kane is without any ties to her Batwoman persona.
