2. Batwoman Vs. Magpie

There was once a time when all superhero shows were simply an endless supply of villain-of-the-week adventures. Then, somewhere along the line, they adopted the superior long-form storytelling format similar to that of films, where they spent all season at loggerheads with one Big Bad, while also sparing a few episodes here and there for a typical villain or two.

The fact of the matter is that superhero shows needs standalone adventures in order to allow the hero learn something (either about themselves or the overarching narrative) - and that was something that 'Who Are You?' nailed through the introduction of DC Comics villain Magpie.

Her battles with the jewelry thief allowed her to realise that not everyone in Gotham was as well-off as she was and that ultimately influenced her decision to move into real estate. In addition, it also forced her to confront the fact that superheroes struggle to have happy relationships due to the double lives they live.

Also, can we just take a moment to praise that initial fight scene between the pair? That was very well-choreographed and a major step up from every showdown we've seen so far.
