BBC's "Good Cop" Finale To Air This Month

BBC Drama "Good Cop" will be back on our screens this month, almost two weeks after its finale was postponed in the wake of the murders of two female police officers in Manchester, according to a Tweet by Times Television on social network site Twitter. The finale of the police series, which began on September 6th and follows Warren Brown as Cop John-Paul Rocksavage, was due to air on September 20th. The show revolves around Rocksavage bringing those responsible for the murder of his colleague to justice - by any means. The finale was postponed partly out of respect for the families of Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes, whilst the episode was also believed to have featured scenes of violence against a female police officer. Whilst the BBC are yet to confirm the details of the shows rescheduling, the below Tweet by Times Television states that we can expect to see it back on our screens on October 13th. Police Officers Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes were called out to investigate a supposed burglary taking place in an estate in Greater Manchester on Tuesday, September 18th. They were then apparently ambushed by suspect Dale Cregan, who had been laying in wait for the officers to arrive before shooting at them and attacking them with a military style hand grenade. The funeral of Pc Hughes will take place tomorrow, October 3 at 1pm, whilst the service for Pc Bone will take place at 10am the following morning at Manchester Cathedral. The funerals of Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone (L to R) will take place over the next two days. Cregan has been charged with the murder of the pair, the case continues.
