4. Yolanda - Something Unforgivable (S5E10)
In the last episode of Season 5, Lalo invites Nacho to his residential house, oblivious he's a double agent for Gus. As soon as Nacho arrives, Lalo proudly introduces him to his faculty workers, including his cook, Yolanda. While Nacho speaks to the staff, he texts Gus' associates to organise a hit on Lalo that same night.
Although the assassins come fully loaded, Lalo picks them off one-by-one. When he realises Nacho betrayed him, you can see the heartbreak in Lalo's eyes. However, this sadness instantly converts to pure rage when Lalo learns the assassins killed Yolanda.
Despite the fact Yolanda and Lalo didn't speak much, it was obvious they shared a unique bond. When Lalo arrives, Yolanda is the first person to greet him. When Nacho enters the compound, Lalo introduces Yolanda to him first, emphasising how much she means to him.
Even though characters get snuffed out all the time in the show, most of them have it coming since they've embraced a criminal lifestyle. However, Yolanda was just a chef who found herself in the wrong place in the wrong time, making her death far more harrowing.
