Better Call Saul: 10 Easter Eggs From The Pilot You Have To See

3. The Offices Of Jimmy McGill

One of the comedic stand outs of this episode was Jimmy McGill doing his best approximation of a British woman's voice when fielding a call from a potential customer, suggesting perhaps they meet at Loyola's because his office is being painted, and the fumes can be quite a knock-out. Which is only, like, half a lie. A white lie. Because the young(er) Saul Goodman's business is actually conducted out of of the back of a nail salon, so there probably is some pretty potent fumes coming out of there. To get to his actual office he has to shuffle past some washing machines, not unlike the laundrette Walt used to cook under. Plus, whilst Saul clearly graduates from the nail salon at some point, it's one of the businesses he suggests Walt and Jesse launder their drug money through €“ along with a laser tag place €“ so he stayed friendly, apparently. Oh, and like Loyola's, that's apparently a real nail salon in New Mexico.
