Ed Galbraith, The Disapperarer, is first alluded to in the Breaking Bad episode Bullet Points. Saul Goodman offers the option to Walter White when his life is under threat from Gus Fring. But how exactly did the vacuum repairman's business card find its way into Goodman's rolodex?

We know that Saul and Galbraith had never met until he required his services towards the end of Breaking Bad. So how did the lawyer come to be aware of him? He's obviously a key figure in Albuquerque's underworld, so it's possible that Goodman just comes across the information organically.

Or does he require his services to disappear Kim? He may want to protect her from Lalo's revenge, but it's more likely that it would be for another reason. Could Jimmy and Kim's scam to ruin Howard Hamblin go awry? Perhaps law enforcement get involved and the possibility of a new life is more appealing to Kim than serving time and seeing her career as a laywer in tatters?

As it would be Kim being picked up in the red van, rather than Jimmy, it fits with established canon and allows him to finally meet Galbraith in Breaking Bad's penultimate episode.
