Better Call Saul: 6 Reasons Kim Wexler Won't Die In Season 6

2. Not Mentioning an Ex-Lover Does Not a Murder Make

People get their hearts broken all the time. It's why there's so many films, novels, television series and songs written about it. A break-up can do strange things to a person, it can inspire a better wardrobe, a better diet or it can make them bitter and aloof. It could also turn a struggling lawyer into the go-to lawyer for Albuquerque's many criminals and low-lives.

Just because Saul Goodman never mentioned Kim Wexler once in his time on Breaking Bad, it does not mean that she's dead. It could mean that she breaks Jimmy's heart, forcing him to shield himself with so many coloured shirts and garish ties. Aside from a glib reference to his second ex-wife, Goodman isn't particularly forthcoming about his private life to Walt and Jesse.

And why would he be? They're his clients, not his close personal confidantes. He's hardly likely to bear his soul about his former lover, who was also a lawyer and was the only person that ever truly believed in him, is he? People don't talk about their exes all the time, doesn't mean that they've been murdered by a drug cartel.
