Better Call Saul: 6 Reasons Kim Wexler Won't Die In Season 6

1. Kim Wexler Simply Deserves Better

The previous reasons have mostly related directly to Jimmy/Saul or the various male characters around her, rather than Kim herself. And this is the most important reason for her to survive the events of Better Call Saul's final season. She's much better than a cheap death.

Of all the new characters introduced over the course of this prequel series, Kim is the most compelling. She's assured, determined and utterly driven to be the best lawyer that she can be. She also has a weakness for Jimmy, and is seduced by his more exciting, more cavalier approach to ethics and the law.

Will the events of this final season finally convince her to sever ties with Jimmy? Fundamentally, Kim Wexler got into the legal profession to help people. As such, she picks up various strays and less-salubrious characters but still sees the good in them. It's why she's stuck with Jimmy for so long, and her belief in him has allowed him to resist fully surrendering to the Saul Goodman character. If she finally gives up on their relationship and walks away, it'll be the push McGill needs to finally become Goodman.

Most importantly, such an ending would be Kim Wexler leaving the story on her own terms, in a way that is satisfying for her character.
