2. Future Saul Will See Jesse or Walt On The News
As mentioned earlier, season one, episode one of Better Call Saul opens with a monochrome flash forward to post-Breaking Bad events. After that we don't again return to the future, but it's fair to assume we were shown those scenes for a reason. Vince Gilligan and co-creator Peter Gould have both talked about the show's potential to jump around in time, so it's entirely likely that season two will open in a similar way, briefly continuing future Saul's arc before jumping backwards again. What if season two begins with Saul finishing the video tape that he began watching in season one, only to switch over to the news and see a report about the notorious meth dealer Walter White's death? And the search for his criminal sidekick, Jesse Pinkman? It would be an absolutely brilliant way to progress future Saul's story, and to set an ominous, looming tone.
