Is there any better supporting character than Sheldon's crazy Texan Christian mother? Well, there are a few. That's why she's at number eight. But whenever Mary Cooper makes an appearance, her casual dismissal of all other religions (and science, for that matter) always brings the humor, even if at times it's incredibly cringe worthy especially when she's talking to Raj. And how could anyone not appreciate the character that brought us the wonderfully haunting lullaby Soft Kitty? Warm kitty, little ball of fur...
