Big Finish Just Altered Doctor Who's Biggest Moment!
4. Alternate Trial Of A Time Lord
So with an unstoppable Skaroan Alliance, how do they get past the immovable object that is their arch nemesis, the Warrior?
For the second adventure of the set, the Warrior is placed on trial, but he is unsure why. An elaborate plot unravels, where he figures out what is going on, and who is behind this.
Placed on trial, similar to the Sixth Doctor's Season 23, the Warrior is set to be 'contained' in his own timeline due to the Genocide he committed on Skaro. It is revealed the Celestial Intervention Agency itself is working for the Alliance after they conquered Gallifrey.
In the end, this timeline is contained by the Warrior, working alongside his oldest friend, the Master. The two of them trap this universe within a Carrisent Particum, the device the Alliance planned to contain the Warrior in, allowing the events of the story to never take place.
As a result, the Warrior sees visions of this potential event, allowing him to potentially navigate his destiny away from it. Once again, this Doctor That Was is stirring up time.
So with further catastrophe avoided, what does it look like when the Time Lords remain the ultimate force to beat in this Time War?
