Black Mirror: 5 Reasons Why It's The Best Thing On TV

2. It's Flat Out Entertaining

BlackMirrorBRB Black Mirror usually provides us with a plot that really makes us think and one that engages the audience on sometimes intimate levels. The opening episode of Series 2 fired the opening salvo with a story revolving around a bereaved woman who finds a way to bring her partner back to life via a creepy looking yet lifelike robot with voice technology modelled on the speech patterns of the deceased. Previous episodes have presented us with a scenario where everyone must pedal on exercise bikes in order to generate currency for themselves which they can then spend on clothes for their virtual profile whilst every day activities are continuously interrupted by advertisements which cannot be skipped without incurring financial penalties (the horror!). One episode is always completely detached from the next and is always equally as entertaining than the last, and some of the issues the show addresses are so original they're on the brink of being trailblazing.
