Black Mirror: 5 Reasons Why It's The Best Thing On TV

3. It's Unpredictable

whitebear Watching Black Mirror is sometimes no dissimilar to stepping into the ring with a heavyweight boxer. At some point in the evening, you just know you're going to be hit with a haymaker that leaves you sprawled out on your stomach in a crumpled bloody heap wondering what had just hit you. Black Mirror is such an unpredictable show and you never can be quite sure what is going to happen from one moment to the next. Whilst this week's White Bear episode seemed fairly ordinary and mundane to begin with, travelling along the lines of a bog-standard serial killer story with dimwitted civilians thrown in as a quirky touch, the story suddenly morphed into a snarling beast that put you on your back. The twists in the plot were stomach churning and the storytelling so masterful that we were left crying out for more, and that's why we love the series.
