Burger of the Day: She'll Be Comin' Round the Plantain Burger (Comes with Plantains)
In an episode which takes place away from the restaraunt and any of the usual locations, the family help Teddy at his client's beach house. Impressed by the scale of the building, the Belchers explore the premises. But after Linda snoops in the owners personal drawers, she believes this house belongs to a murderer.
As the family try to solve the case of whether Helen (the house owner) murdered her ex-lover on the widows walk, Helen herself arrives and the stormy weather forces the family to stay the night. Could the Belchers be lodging with a dangerous killer?
It's a very intense episode but it's also levelled out by some well-timed punchlines and strong performances by the cast. This is also one of the rare instances where Bob is acting the most socially awkward of all the family. After taking pain killers for his back, he oafishly blabs to Helen that Linda and Louise think she's a murderer, whilst almost outing her crush on Teddy too.
