Bob's Burgers: Every Halloween Episode Ranked Worst To Best

6. Fort Night (Season 4, Episode 2)

Bob's Burgers Nightmare On Ocean Avenue Street
FOX

Unlike "Heartbreak Hotel-oween," which hooks you in with the false promise of some hellion hijinks by Louise and betrays you with Tina's monotonous moralizing, "Fort Night" cuts off Louise's Halloween plans by literally trapping her in a box. Fortunately, this seemingly bland setting actually plays host to a number of enjoyable gags involving the Belcher children and their friends.

Huge points go to this episode for introducing Louise's nemesis/stalker, Millie Frock. Molly Shannon's insane line deliveries make for an instantly memorable introduction to what the Fandom wiki would later dub "the most dangerous human character on the show," and the character plays especially well off Aziz Ansari's more reserved Darryl.

"Fort Night" also includes some of the better opening and closing gags among the series' Halloween episodes. Highlights include a Kuchi Kopi jump scare, the "Cauliflower's Cumin from Inside the House" burger, and the darkly comical Johnny Razor's Totally Normal Candy Store.

Hilarious character interactions and amusing sight gags almost make up for this being one of a few Bob's Burgers Halloween episodes to struggle with its adult characters. Bob and Linda have one pretty funny trick-or-treating scene, but their lame jokes and unenthusiastic deliveries throughout the rest of the episode feel more like filler than comedy.
