Bob's Burgers: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)
8. Season 6
Season six actually features the two best episodes of Bob's Burgers (at least according to the IMDB rating system). The first is the Halloween special "The Hauntening" in which the Belchers are determined to make Louise frightened and capture the moment.
After a failed attempt at scaring her, the family find themselves cornered into a spooky old house. As Louise screams in terror at a group of hooded people standing in front of a circle of fire, it is revealed it was all a prank, thus fooling her and the audience.
The other episode is the series finale "Glued, Where's My Bob?", where Bob becomes glued to the toilet on the same day he has an interview with a high profile magazine company. This is a fantastic way to end season six because it ushers in several ensemble characters together and features a catchy musical number, all whilst displaying the father-daughter bond between Bob and Louise.
Whilst these two stories can definitely be considered classics in the Bobs Burgers catalogue, they don't fully redeem an otherwise just ok series. Season six is certainly entertaining but a lot of the plot lines felt a bit uninspired - stories about getting a new couch and the restaurant becoming con tiki themed lack a certain zany spark.
This was also the first series where producer Loren Bouchard was gearing the sitcom into a more family friendly direction which meant the humour lost some of its risqué edge.
