Breaking Bad: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode
6. Russell (Green Light)
It's now time to return to the dingy underworld of drug addicts, and this one's a real doozy. Viewers had certainly seen their fair share of quirky individuals by the time the third season rocked up, but this guy worked hard to stand out among that crowd.
In the episode "Green Light", Hank found himself investigating the soliciting of Blue Meth in a bar. So, pretty much an average day for him. This led to an interrogation with Russell, a burnt-out addict who might have been a cop's worst nightmare for getting information.
Although Russell tried very hard to remember who sold the goods to him - even going so far as to strain his head with thought - the only information he could retrieve was that he was wearing tan pants, maybe had a moustache and was called Mel, or Mark, or some "muh" sound.
The character may have only been in one short scene and served little purpose, but the hilarious performance from Mark Hanson and his unique combination of looks and weirdness made him very memorable.
