Never get high on your own supply. It is a rule known by all drug traders across the land and is always responsible for their downfall if they do indeed begin to dabble in their own filth. Surely the intelligent Walter White knows enough about the detrimental affects a methadone addiction has on the human body? Surely he knows that taking his own drug is something that will cause his life and power to crumble into pathetically small pieces? You would hope so, but don't put anything past Walter, this man has lost it. His disheveled aforementioned Denny's look surely isnt a result of a few hard months of meth abuse is it?
